I'm Ariel Reyes
I paint. I draw. I'm a visual story teller. Slowly trying to wake up my inner artist and sharing my view of the world. I paint and draw what I feel, and I have a propensity to use whatever medium is available.
The very first illustrations I made were for a children's workbook back in the Philippines when I was around 11 years old. I never thought I could make a living as an artist. As a result I've ended up working in software for more than 20 years.
Now that I am in my 50s and reprioritising things in my life. I've started reconnecting with my old creative self. This was inspired by Julia Cameron's workbook "The Artist's Way".
As I dabble in different creative experiments, you might see me or my artworks in around Wellington, New Zealand.
