I had my first exhibit at the Halo-Halo / Southeast Asian Festival at TSB Arena in Wellington on 6 December 2025. It was estimated that there were more than 400 visitors at the event. It was promoted to be a cultural and food festival. Still, myself and another Filipino artist were allowed to showcase our artworks.

I was not actually at the event as I was running the Kepler Challenge on the same date. Lucky enough my family was there to help manage the exhibit.
Even if the entire event only lasted for 5 hours and promoted as something other than a art event, we still managed to sell some artworks. This really means a lot for me as this is basically my first public exposure.
I also had one children's book concept artwork that wasn't for sale, which were displayed and a Kiwi father and daughter really liked it and bought it. For me its a good sign that some of my artworks and these resonate with Kiwis.
Here are some images from the event courtesy of my wife Kala.
